PETER CHEOK (SINGAPORE) is a two-time Gold and Best of Show award winner at the Singapore Garden Festival (first at the inaugural festival 2006 and again in 2008). His Fantasy Garden exhibit at the 2008 SGF, Seeking Shangri-La, was also voted by visitors as their favourite garden in the 2008 festival. Peter was also invited to present Seeking Shangri-La at the Ellerslie International Flower Show 2009, and he won a Gold award for his efforts. In 2006, Peter was also the recipient of the Gold Award in the Retail Nursery category of the Landscape Industry Association (Singapore) (LIAS) Awards of Excellence. JIM FOGARTY (AUSTRALIA) is a multi-award winner at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. His achievements include two Best of Show Awards, three Design Excellence Awards and four Gold Medals. Jim was also the first Australian show garden designer to win a Chelsea award at the acclaimed Chelsea Flower Show. At the 2008 Singapore Garden Festival, Jim was awarded a Gold Medal for his garden inspired by Jervis Bay in Australia. More recently, his Australian-themed garden, 'Great Southern Land', won the Gold award for best design at the World Garden Competition in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan in 2009. KAZUYUKI ISHIHARA (JAPAN) is the proud recipient of numerous awards and accolades including three consecutive Gold awards at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He was also a Gold award and Best of Show winner at the 2008 Singapore Garden Festival for his Japanese-themed garden design. Ishihara has participated in numerous green design projects in Japan including the Glover Garden in Nagasaki-city and a botanical garden in Osaka. He firmly believes that living an urban lifestyle can lead one to lose touch with their environment, and sees plants and gardens as a way to help re-connect people to nature. R P JICKKY (SINGAPORE) brings with him 34 years experience in designing and implementing gardens. One of his recent project designs, Solaris, won the first prize in the SIA-NParks Skyrise Greenery Awards in 2009. Jickky also has a keen interest in preserving nature. His creation of a green wall effect using hanging creepers won the Gold Award at the Landscape Industry Association (Singapore) (LIAS) Awards of Excellence. Partnering R P Jickky will be Tropical Environment Pte Ltd. The company was also the winner of a Gold Implementing Partner Medal and Silver Implementing Partner Medal at SGF 2008.

INCH LIM (MALYASIA) is one of Malaysia's best-known horticulturist-garden designers and also a former award winner at the Malaysia International Landscape and Garden Festival (Laman). He has designed many private landscape gardens around the region including Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Some of his landscape design works include a private residence in Sentosa Cove, the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur and the design for the Sultan of Pahang's new residence in Kuala Lumpur. JOHN TAN CHEE HIAN (SINGAPORE) brings with him 17 years experience in designing and implementing gardens. He is also the current Elected Vice-Chairman of the Landscape Industry Association (Singapore) (LIAS). HONG CHENG WANG (CHINA) is the current President of the Landscape Planning and Design Institute of Tianjin. A renowned landscape garden designer in his own right, Hong Cheng has published multiple articles and books that touch on the design principles of landscape garden designing and also the importance of greenery in cities. He has also garnered more than 20 local and international awards for his exquisite garden designs. This year marks his debut at the Singapore Garden Festival after organising and participating in over 60 garden shows in recent years. CLAIRE WHITEHOUSE (UNITED KINGDOM) is a freelance garden designer and regularly participates as a Show Garden judge for the Royal Horticultural Society. Since 1995, Claire has designed and staged 15 medal-winning Show Gardens at Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace Flower Shows. She also has a keen interest in staging unique gardens for special events – her work included the installation of a mobile sensory garden on top of a double-decker bus in 2002, and a mediaeval garden inside Temple Church, City of London in 2006. ROBERT BOLTMAN & ALEX BARTLETT (CANADA), are the founders of the award winning bsq. Landscape Design Studio. Some of their previous award wins include the Canada Blooms “Environmental Award” and the OALA "Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Design in Landscape Architecture". In their design work, the duo constantly strives to incorporate creative design and sustainable "green approaches" in their creation of beautiful and dynamic spaces. One of their most famous creations is a sustainable, mobile, professional design office, created with a reclaimed 10' by 20' shipping container and incorporates numerous green technologies such as a green roof and a solar power generation system. This design was received with global acclaim and has been widely featured in design magazines and television shows. JOHN CULLEN (UNITED STATES) is a multiple-award winner at numerous prestigious Flower Shows, including Gold award winner at the Chicago Flower Show and the Cincinnati Flower Show International Exhibition in previous years. At the 2007 Philadelphia Flower Show, John's exhibit won the Best of Show award and was voted the People’s Choice Award for all eight days at the Show - a feat never accomplished previously in the Philadelphia Show's 180 years history. John is a returning participant from the 2008 Singapore Garden Festival where he won a Gold award for his Celtic garden display. AGNES DAVAL & GABRIEL MILOCHAU (FRANCE) are from the landscape and design studio Digitale Paysage. Prior to this, Agnès was a teacher in the design department of the School of Art and Design of Strasbourg. For her garden designs, Agnès believes that as a designer, she has a responsibility to protect the natural surroundings in her designs. She also feels that her gardens should also have a social dimension to improve people’s lives, and to provide them with a sanctuary where one can enjoy and reside in. An example of this is her work in a touristic area near Vesoul in the east of France, where she is trying to create a place that combines both nature and sustainable development with leisure.

DAVID DAVIDSON (SOUTH AFRICA) is a renowned designer whose accolades include the first prize at the Royal Floral Expo in 2006 and 14 Gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show. In addition, he was the Chelsea Flower Show inaugural winner of the President's Most Creative Award in 2008, and his 2006 Chelsea exhibit was also awarded the Lawrence Medal for being "the best exhibit shown in 2006". Recently, he won a Gold medal at the 2009 presentation of the Chelsea Flower Show. David was also a member of the design team at the Design2050 conference held in Singapore last November. RICK ECKERSLEY, MYLES BROAD & SCOTT LEUNG (AUSTRALIA) are partners in Eckersley Garden Architecture, one of Australia’s foremost landscape design company. Rick Eckersly has been creating gardens for over 30 years, and has won multiple Gold Awards at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Besides designing and building gardens, Rick is a well-known figure in Australia having been a radio commentator (specialising in gardening features) for more than 15 years. Rick has also co-written several books on gardening including Outside and Living in the Garden: Australian Style. Their Implementing Partner, TEHC International Pte Ltd, was winner of a Gold Implementing Partner Medal and Best of Show Medal in SGF 2008.

SUZANNE GAYWOOD (GRENADA/UNITED KINGDOM) is a multi-award winning floral designer from the Caribbean island of Grenada. Suzanne is well-known for her Grenada themed gardens at the Chelsea Flower and Garden Show which she has designed for the past 12 years. These Grenada-themed gardens have earned her seven Chelsea Gold medals, and she was awarded the Woman of the Year Award in 2006 for her numerous Chelsea successes. Partnering Suzanne Gaywood will be her Implementing Partner, Evershine Flora Deco Team.

DAMIAN TANG (SINGAPORE) is the Assistant Director of Design Branch in NParks and holds the appointment of President in the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (SILA). His portfolio includes regional, urban and neighbourhood parks design; streetscape design such as the Punggol 21. Damian has also collaborated on key projects such as the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Masterplan with Urban Redevelopment Authority, Singapore and the Kallang River Master Plan with Public Utilities Board, Singapore. Damian is a Gold award recipient at the SILA Professional Design Awards in 2009. Partnering Damian Tang will be his Implementing Partner, Kiat Lee Landscape & Building Pte Ltd.
